The detection systems range from fence mounted intelligent inertia sensors, external movement detectors, active infra red beams, specialist detection cables both above and below ground, CCTV systems with in-built analytics, which can be deployed to monitor movement and behavioural characteristics. We are also able to provide thermal imaging cameras to protect large open areas.
Systems such as Pulse-Secure™ not only provide a detection capability but actively deter would be intruders by delivering a short, safe, but painful electric shock at the point of intrusion.
Video analytic software can be deployed to protect boundaries where there is no physical barrier and operates by creating a virtual tripwire on screen. Activity can be programmed to trigger the system either by direction (ie left to right only) or by object left or object missing etc. This means that if an object of a predetermined size is left within the protected area for longer than is allowed an alert will be generated or if a valuable object is removed an alert can be created. These systems are being used for monitoring level crossings, left luggage in high density public areas such as train stations and airports etc. Intelligent analytic software can also be used to determine if people are loitering by their activity patterns within a certain area. These systems can be used to prevent criminal acts before they actually take place.
